Gulf Shores, AL — September 15, 2023 — They say teamwork makes the dream work, and boy, did we prove that right! On September 15, Eco CleanMarine, in a dynamic partnership with the Kiwanis Club and Rotary Club, descended upon the Hangout Grass Parking lot in Gulf Shores for an epic trash pick-up extravaganza.

The buzz began at the crack of dawn, with 22 supercharged volunteers hitting the ground running. In just a mere 1.5 hours, this high-energy crew, led by the indefatigable Courtney Dombroski, pulled off a cleanup feat that could only be described as Herculean!

The results? Hold on to your hats, folks, because this is where the magic happened. Our mighty team corralled a jaw-dropping 47 colossal 5-gallon buckets of trash! That's right, you read it correctly — 47 buckets of the not-so-glamorous stuff, all rounded up and ready to bid farewell.

From cigarette butts to plastic straws, our heroes tackled it all with gusto, turning what once seemed like an insurmountable task into a true triumph for the environment. Every bit of trash collected represents a step forward in our mission to keep our beaches pristine and protect the marine life that call this area home.

Eco CleanMarine, Kiwanis Club, and Rotary Club want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every volunteer who joined us in this endeavor. Your dedication and enthusiasm were nothing short of inspiring, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Let this be a beacon of hope and a testament to what we can achieve when we come together for a common cause. The Hangout Grass Parking lot has never looked better, and our local ecosystem is breathing a sigh of relief!
