DMP HOSPITALITY GROUP, INC. ANNOUNCES PLANS TO OPEN BRICK AND MORTAR LOCATION

ORANGE BEACH, ALA – A project eight years in the making is coming to fruition with the build-out of The Pantry at The Village Tannin in Orange Beach. Slated to open in Spring 2023, Chef/Proprietor David Pan will utilize the 2,400+-square-foot location to serve French-American cuisine while also operating a shoppable general store with gourmet provisions.
“Through all the obstacles, from weather events to a pandemic, we have stayed committed to our original vision, marrying fine dining with family-friendly beach bum casual, or what we call ‘French food in flip flops,’” said Tillie Pan, co-owner and brand strategist at DMP Hospitality Group, Inc.. The Pans also own and operate Orange Beach Concierge Services, Inc., which provides personal chef and private dining services, as well as boutique catering, and The Pantry at The Wharf, a specialty grocery store.
The new space will include a casual counter service concept with an additional 24+ seats at the full-service bar surrounding an open-kitchen format and additional seating for patio dining. Guests will enjoy a full-service menu of Chef David Pan’s favorite French dishes, from small plates to desserts, while featuring locally sourced boutique oysters and more. In addition, patrons will enjoy walk-up counter service of grab-and-go items, including fresh salads, on-demand cheese and charcuterie, ready-made soups and sandwiches, made to-go.
“It’s important to us to offer provisions from our local purveyors,” Tillie said; adding additional products will include a retail wine and beer selection and everything needed for an elevated shopping experience.
Orange Beach Concierge Services, The Pantry at The Wharf, and The Pantry 2.0
In addition to The Pans’ two other locations at The Wharf, they are also opening The Pantry 2.0, their third tenancy at The Wharf entertainment and dining district in Orange Beach. The Pantry 2.0 will be a specialty spirits store offering the top five brands of various libations, including gin and vodka and an impressive collection of bourbon. In their commitment to offering the best of regional purveyors, The Pantry 2.0 will also shelve the entire line of spirits from John Emerald Distillery located in Opelika, Alabama.
