Pensacola Beach, FL — This past weekend, Eco Clean Marine partnered with Oceanic Global for a successful trash pick-up event at Pensacola Beach Boardwalk, demonstrating the power of community and collaboration in protecting marine life and our environment. With the help of sixty dedicated volunteers, the team was able to collect a staggering 84 5-gallon buckets of trash in just two hours.
The event wasn’t only a success in terms of cleaning the beach. Oceanic Global also raised $1,200, which was donated to Eco Clean Marine to support its ongoing mission to keep our waterways clean and safe for marine life.
"We are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to volunteer and to Oceanic Global for their generous donation," said Courtney Dombroski, Founder and CEO of Eco Clean Marine. "It’s inspiring to see so many people come together with a shared goal of making a positive impact on our oceans. This event brings us one step closer to a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations."
The trash collected ranged from plastic debris and food wrappers to discarded fishing gear—items that pose serious risks to marine life and water quality. Eco Clean Marine's mission focuses on addressing this issue by removing waste from waterways and educating the public about the importance of environmental conservation.
This event is part of a series of clean-up efforts led by Eco Clean Marine across the Gulf Coast, all aimed at reducing ocean pollution and safeguarding marine ecosystems. The funds raised by Oceanic Global will directly support Eco Clean Marine’s future initiatives, including trash removal efforts, educational outreach, and the operation of their innovative fish feed machines.
