Eco Clean Marine hit the shores this weekend with buckets, big smiles, and unstoppable energy to tackle litter in style. Our latest trash pick-up event at Rita’s Shaved Ice & Frozen Custard brought together a spirited group of six volunteers, led by the ever-enthusiastic Team Lead, David.
In just 1.5 hours, this determined crew collected seven 5-gallon buckets of trash, proving that even small groups can make a big splash for the environment. And what better place to work up a sweat than the cheerful backdrop of Rita’s, where the treats are cool, and the vibes are even cooler?
“This wasn’t just about picking up trash; it was about coming together as a community, having fun, and leaving Gulf Shores better than we found it,” said Team Lead David. “Plus, who doesn’t love an excuse to hang out at Rita’s?”
From plastic wrappers to stray bottle caps, no piece of litter was safe from this team’s eagle eyes. As buckets filled up, spirits soared higher, showing that cleaning the coastline can be both rewarding and downright entertaining.
