Gulf Shores, AL – September 15, 2024 – On a sun-soaked Sunday, Eco Clean Marine once again rallied local volunteers for a mission that’s as rewarding as it is essential: cleaning up our beautiful beaches. This weekend, the focus was Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores, where four dedicated volunteers gathered to make a difference—armed with trash grabbers, buckets, and a passion for protecting our oceans.

In just 1.5 hours of teamwork, Eco Clean Marine collected an impressive five 5-gallon buckets of trash, transforming the shoreline into a cleaner, safer environment for marine life and beachgoers alike. From plastic bottles to forgotten flip-flops, no piece of litter stood a chance!

“We always say, every bit of trash counts, and that couldn’t be truer today,” said Courtney Dombroski, founder of Eco Clean Marine. “It’s amazing what a small, motivated team can accomplish in a short amount of time. These volunteers brought their A-game, and Beach Blvd looks fantastic because of it!”

The event not only helped clean up one of Gulf Shores’ most iconic beaches but also brought together community members who share a love for the ocean and a commitment to keeping it pristine. The camaraderie was infectious, with volunteers exchanging stories, laughs, and a few friendly competitions over who could snag the strangest piece of trash. Spoiler alert: a lone sandal won the prize!

Eco Clean Marine continues its mission of safeguarding marine environments with the help of local heroes like these volunteers. And while the trash may be gone for now, the work is far from over. Stay tuned for more opportunities to get involved in future cleanups and become part of the solution.
