In a partnership that showcases the power of community and collaboration, Eco Clean Marine and Beach Basketball USA joined forces for a remarkable trash pickup event at Moe Barbecue in Orange Beach. The event brought together nine committed volunteers and resulted in an inspiring achievement for local environmental protection.
Over the span of just two hours, the group managed to fill 32 five-gallon buckets with trash, removing debris from the area and making a significant impact on the cleanliness of the beach. The commitment to the environment didn't stop there. Beach Basketball USA further supported the cause by raising an impressive $425, a sum that will be donated directly to Eco Clean Marine to support their ongoing mission of keeping our waterways clean and pristine.
"I'm overwhelmed by the support and the effort everyone put into this event," said Courtney Dombroski, founder of Eco Clean Marine. "It's inspiring to see people come together and make a real difference in our community."
Including the 85 buckets purchased for the event and the 32 buckets filled with trash, the initiative saw a total of 117 buckets utilized. The fun-filled day not only brought about a cleaner beach but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among the participants.
