FAIRHOPE, AL – Community Senior Life is pleased to announce the appointment of Larry Sweet as Executive Director of The Huntingdon at Homestead Village of Fairhope. In this capacity, Larry will manage all business operations and oversee staff development in the assisted living community. As an Administrator, Larry will focus on total compliance with federal, state, and local policies and procedures that govern long-term care facilities to assure that each resident receives the necessary nursing, medical, and psychosocial services to attain and maintain the highest possible mental and physical functional status.
“The Huntingdon is going to thrive with Larry as Administrator,” said Nick Wilmott, Vice President of Operations. “Formally, this position belonged to a single nurse, now with the addition of Larry as Administrator, our nursing staff can focus solely on the care of our residents and Larry will give proper attention to resident activities, dining, and all other aspects associated with our residents’ daily lives at The Huntingdon.”

Larry comes to Community Senior Life with 19 years of experience in healthcare working for Kindred Healthcare, Trilogy Health Service, and Elmcroft Senior Living in Columbus, IN and the Gulf Coast. In 2018, Larry earned his Alabama Assisted Living Administrator License I & II. “I’m really looking forward to this new step with Community Senior Life,” commented Larry. “My experience as a Maintenance Director provided me essential knowledge of the physical housing needs and conditions for senior living communities. I’m excited to be able to continue making a difference in the lives our senior residents as Administrator and Executive Director.”
