Where better to host a Gumbo Festival than at the best beachside restaurant in the South? CoastAL Orange Beach is excited to announce the Inaugural Gumbo Fest sponsored by Rouses Markets on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.
Competitors
Prizes: Gumbo paddle trophies will be awarded for first, second, and third place, along with the "People’s Choice" award. Plus, there’s prize money for the winners — $1,000 for first place!
Team Entry Fee: $150 per team (3 people per team). Entry fee includes 3 Gumbo Fest T-shirts, $100 Rouses gift card, and CoastAL gift bag. Teams can register and read the full rules HERE.

About Gumbo Fest: The fun will start at 11 a.m. Gumbo Fest can enjoy the best gumbo crafted by chefs from across the nation, cocktails at the beachfront bar, relax with entertainment on the green, or dine inside the incredible restaurant. No matter where you are, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the beach and Gulf waters.
Entry Fee: $25 per person, with $5 of the fee going toward a scholarship for a local student pursuing a career in hospitality. The entry includes 8 tasting tickets and 1 voting ticket for the People’s Choice award.
