THE CITY OF ORANGE BEACH WISHES EVERYONE A HAPPY AND SAFE FOURTH OF JULY HOLIDAY!
From the Intracoastal Waterway to the Gulf of Mexico, Fourth of July celebrations are planned in Orange Beach, with appropriate social-distancing protocols in place. Please remember that fireworks are prohibited in Orange Beach, except for professionally produced and permitted shows.

Fireworks shows are planned Saturday, July 4th at

All events are subject to change.

Beach info:
With Alabama's beaches open, it is critical that everyone follow CDC social-distancing guidelines, which will be enforced. All beachgoers must maintain a 6-foot distance from others (excluding those living in your home). Everyone is encouraged to wear masks while in businesses and restaurants, and the need for personal responsibility is paramount.  Having our beaches open is a privilege and each of us has a responsibility to do our part. Following the guidelines will help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and help keep our beaches open. For more information about COVID-19, visit the Alabama Department of Public Health website at alabamapublichealth.gov/covid19. ‬

Section of Alabama Point East beach remains closed:
While all public-access beaches are open in Orange Beach, please note that a section of the Alabama Point East beach, near the Perdido Pass bridge (shown on map), will remain closed until further notice. The closure has greatly helped the city's enforcement of social distancing guidelines. CITY OFFICES CLOSED TODAY:
In observance of the Fourth of July holiday, all non-essential city facilities are closed today - Friday, July 3rd. Trash and recycling will not be affected. All routes will run as normal. Offices will open for normal hours on Monday, July 6th.

RESPECT OUR WATERWAYS:
It will be a very busy weekend on our waterways. When boating or using other watercraft in Orange Beach, please help keep everyone safe by knowing and abiding by the No Wake / Idle-Speed rules. Also, be aware of the No Motor Zones to protect our fragile and important seagrasses. No Wake Zones include Cotton Bayou, Terry Cove, and portions of Old River, among other areas. No Motor Zones are around Walker Island and Bird Island, east of Robinson Island, and on the east end of Ono Island.
