Cities of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Share Info on Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras Parades

Mardi Gras season is fast approaching and the cities of Gulf Shores & Orange Beach have published information to keep visitors and residents informed on the 2023 Fat Tuesday parades.

The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be partaking in both, so keep your eyes peeled for our shrimp float!

GULF SHORES:

When:
February 21st, 2023 - Parade starts at 10:00 a.m.

Where: Parade begins at the intersection of Highway 59 and East Beach Boulevard (Highway 182) and will travel along East Beach Boulevard to the Gulf State Park Pier Road.

What: City of Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Parade - Since 1978 the Gulf Shores Parade has brought Fat Tuesday fun to Coastal Alabama!

ORANGE BEACH:

When: February 21st, 2023 - Parade starts at 2:00 p.m.

Where: Perdido Beach Boulevard start at the traffic signal just east of Phoenix West and travel east ending at intersection at Highway 161 and Perdido Beach Boulevard, just past the Publix shopping center.

What: City of Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade - More than 50 units usually take part in the annual City of Orange Beach Mardi Gras parade. Participating groups include Orange Beach High School band and cheerleaders, Gulf Shores High School band, Bon Temps Cabrix, Treasures of the Isle, Sirens of the Sea, Order of Disorder, Order of Aurora, Maidens in Pink Stilettos and Mystics of Pleasure, among others.
