Orange Beach, Ala. - Holly days are here again! Returning for its fourth year on the Alabama Gulf Coast, the Holly Days on Main Festival, presented by South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, will be taking over The Wharf in Orange Beach on Dec. 9 & 10.
A free-to-attend festival organized by the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, Holly Days on Main looks to bring some Christmas cheer by catering to all ages.
Holly Days takes advantage of the wide Main Street area of The Wharf to line 50+ vendors up and down the complex. Vendors will be selling a variety of fine arts, retail goods, and arts & crafts, making the festival the perfect stop for last minute Christmas gift shopping. Wharf tenants will also be offering a variety of specials, discounts, and activities.
"As we've continued to grow the festival, it has quickly become a favorite of residents and visitors alike,” said Greg Alexander, President & CEO of the Chamber, “From the chamber's standpoint this truly special event provides us with an opportunity to support our local businesses during the winter season”.
Shopping isn’t the only draw to the event as an entertainment stage will showcase Christmas themed performances by youth choir & dance programs, and local musicians. Sunday morning will feature a service from Central Church of Orange Beach and a live nativity scene.
The festival will also host the 4th Annual LAYP Santa Pub Crawl presented by Hilton Garden Inn Orange Beach, free family activities courtesy of Flip Flop Vacations at the Chamber’s office in Suite K6, wreath making with the Gulf State Park Center for Ecotourism, a gift basket raffle to support Chamber education programs, and a pass-by from the LuLu’s Lighted Boat Parade the Saturday evening of the festival.
