Gulf Shores announces lineup for the 2020 Winter Edition of
Small Town, Big Beach™ Productions

Gulf Shores, Ala – Each year the City hosts an array of events and entertainment including Music and Movies at Meyer Park, Christmas and Mardi Gras Parades, Zydeco & Crawfish Festival as well as the Winter Entertainment Series. The 2020 Winter Entertainment Series consists of the following acts:

The Drifters kick off the 2020 Winter Entertainment Series on January 27-28. Through their historical
journey, the Drifters have had no less than five legendary lead singers, including Rock & Roll Hall of
Famers Clyde McPhatter and Ben E. King. The group’s ongoing story has covered the entire spectrum
of Rock & Roll. They were the first musical group to include string instruments into Rhythm & Blues
music with their hauntingly beautiful song, “There Goes My Baby”. They were the first musical group
to sell 2 million records with their pop classic, “Up On The Roof”. They were the first African
American vocal group to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Along with fellow inductees,
the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Bob Dylan and the Supremes, the Drifters were in the first class of
Rock & Roll legends to be initiated into the Hall of Fame. Their classic tune “Under the Boardwalk” is

December ‘63 takes the stage on February 3-4. Honoring legendary vocal group The Four Seasons,
December ’63 brings a high energy performance that includes amazing live vocals, talented backing
musicians, audience interaction, spot on choreography and comedy.  You’ll hear all the biggest Four
Seasons hits including Sherry, Walk Like A Man, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Rag Doll, Dawn, Let’s Hang

John Davidson, with special guest Gail Farrell, will be the third performance of the Winter Edition on
February 10-11. Star of television, films and the Broadway stage, John Davidson is a world class
entertainer.  The only performer to have 3 TV shows in the Top 10 at the same time, he has just
returned from starring roles in the National Tours of the Broadway Shows Wicked and Finding
Neverland.  John’s live performances combine his singing, musicianship and humor into one
entertaining evening.  Guest star Gail Farrell was a long time featured vocalist and pianist on the
Lawrence Welk television series and she continues to entertain audiences nationwide. For more

Harrison Greenbaum will wrap up our 2020 Winter Entertainment series on February 17-18. “The
hardest-working man in comedy” (Time Out NY) and “one of the most unique acts you’ll ever see”
(am New York), Harrison is one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch” and winner of the Andy
Kaufman Award.  On television, Harrison has been featured on America’s Got Talent, Last Comic
Standing, Conan, AXS.TV’s Gotham Comedy Live, and National Geographic Channel’s Brain
Games. As a magician, Harrison was named one of today's best by Newsday and tours around the
world as one of the stars of The Illusionists: Direct from Broadway, the biggest selling magic show in
history. The most requested performer at Monday Night Magic, the longest-running Off-Broadway
magic show in New York, Harrison has also performed at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, the Mystery
Lounge in Boston, and was one of only 30 magicians chosen to perform at the International Festival of
Magic, Illusion, and the Unusual in Louisville, Kentucky.  He is also the proud winner of the Senator
Crandall Award for Excellence in Comedy, given out annually at Abbott’s Magic Get-Together in
Colon, Michigan.  Harrison is a counselor at Tannen’s Magic Camp and has been an advisor to the

All shows will be held at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center, located at 1930 West 2nd Street. Doors
will open at 6 p.m., and the show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35.
