2019 MULLET TOSS GUIDELINES/FAQ
 
Dear Friends and Guests,
 
Flora-Bama and Phoenix X Condominiums have worked together to improve Mullet Toss. Please read guidelines below and help us get the word out. 
 
  • Chairs around the Mullet Toss will be free and there will be areas blocked off for standing room.
  • As usual, personal beach chairs and tents are allowed on all Flora-Bama properties, free of charge. Limited space is available so first come, first served. 
  • No outside coolers or alcohol can be brought onto Flora-Bama’s licensed property, but Flora-Bama will be selling beer in small coolers on the beach for customers and will have bars available on the beach for other beverages.
  • 10x10 tent spaces are available for rent for $125 for the weekend on the Phoenix X beach from Ike’s Beach Service. Space renters will receive a separate wristband that is good for the Phoenix X beach area only. Contact Ike’s Beach Service at 251-948-3757.
  • Coolers are allowed in the Phoenix X beach area if the tent space is rented.
  • Access to Phoenix X condo will be limited to Phoenix X residents and renters. Wristbands will be issued to these people on site upon check in.
  • Flora-Bama wristband is good for entrance into Flora-Bama and Phoenix X beach. Phoenix X wristband does not get you into Flora-Bama. 
  • No amplified music is allowed. No large speakers or DJ’s. Flora-Bama will be providing music and the Red Bull DJ will be on site playing music on the beach.
  • As always, must be 21 to drink.
  • Cover charge to Flora-Bama begins at 9am Fri-Sun, $10/day for 21 and up & $15 for 13-20 year olds, 12 & under are free, all ages until 6pm, then 21 and up.
  • Membership cards are good for entry to Flora-Bama for Mullet Toss. 
  • Tossing of the mullet is 10am to 4pm Friday through Sunday, with kids toss at 10am and adults beginning at noon until 4pm, owners & celebrity tossers at 4pm, then finals each day at 4:30pm. It is $15 to toss a mullet and all tossers receive a t-shirt. Proceeds go to local charities.
 
This will be the best Mullet Toss yet and we can’t wait to see everyone. See you soon at the Gulf’s greatest beach party April 26-28th!
