Conventional business wisdom believed environmental or "green" initiatives in the workplace were a luxury that cost companies extra money.  However, a growing number of leading companies from General Electric to Xerox Corporation are finding the opposite to be true by incorporating environmentally sustainable business principles as a core strategy.
 
This workshop will provide a background on the emerging definition of sustainable bushiness practices, examples of how they lead to the elimination of all types of waste, higher profits, innovations and ultimately to greater loyalty form employees and customers
 
Guest speaker, Bill Stough, CEO of Sustainable Research Group, the founder of a network of Sustainable Business Forums throughout the Midwest, a Lean & Clean Assessor, a past consultant to the Alabama Manufacturing Extension Partnership, and current executive director for the Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum
