Event Description:
Triple B CITGO has installed a “Spirit Pump” to help raise funds for Elsanor Elementary. Community members are encouraged to come out to the station and join the cause. This special pump, marked with yellow school clings and Elsanor Elementary’s name, was installed on September 19, 2016 and will remain in place until the end of November. Elsanor Elementary is a member of “The Leader in Me” organization, which teaches 21st century leadership and life skills to students. This organization creates a culture of student empowerment based on the idea that every child can be a leader. Fund raised form the Triple B CITGO Spirit Pump will go towards furthering this teaching at the school. For more information on “The Leader in Me,” visit www.theleaderinme.org. Triple B’s Spirit Pump is another way CITGO Petroleum Corporation is Fueling Education. Throughout the past three years, the CITGO Fueling Education program has contributed new school supplies to hundreds of teachers across the country.
