Name: South Alabama REAL TALK Mental Wellness Conference Series #2
Date: June 29, 2017
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM CDT
Event Description:
Mental Wellness Impacts Family JOIN US FOR AN AUTHENTIC DISCUSSION IN 2017 ABOUT CRISIS ISSUES IN MENTAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR FAMILIES IN SOUTH ALABAMA. Be a part of the dialogue. Be a part of the impact for positive change in our mental health delivery services. Do you know how much this impacts a person, a family, a business, a community? It impacts your neighborhood and community dramatically. Keeping the family structure and the kids together means more can be done to help with what resources they need to become resilient and sustainable as a family. Our second conference focuses on the family, kids and resources – the Challenge is in creating a one-source resource where consumers and organizations can access current community resources; where community resources understand their commitment to collaboration and sharing of information, where the communication process among service providers is positive and not inefficient, where families gain strength in knowing people are willing to help and are there to help them, and most of all, to identify through REAL TALK the gaps in the gulf of bridging mental health delivery services in Baldwin and Mobile Counties exist, what challenges and opportunities that need to be discussed to determine effective planning for resource management.
