Workplace turnover is costly and affects productivity.  Often there is a disconnect between supervisors and employees.  Supervisors don’t understand why employees don’t just do their job and employees become defensive, or they just leave.  How does a company change this?  Understand how to calculate your turnover rate and learn some immediate solutions.  Recognize steps necessary to prevent the turnover costs from eating into your profits.

 Guest Speaker, Joanie Stephen is a certified master facilitator in workforce development.  Her background includes over 15 years as an Educator, a Sales Manager, and Corporate Trainer.  She helps people recognize and incorporate a workforce strategy to create success in the workplace.  Her company, The Smart Solutions Group, has presented to large and small businesses including Baldwin County Association of Realtors, Mobile Chamber of Commerce, Mobile Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), The Women’s Business Center, Girl Scouts of the Deep South, Mobile Area Water and Sewer Systems, City of Virginia Beach, Pacific Northwest Library Conference, Boise State University, and others.
