Bellingrath Gardens and Home is calling for entries in the 2021 Scarecrow Contest! This wonderful event is an opportunity for arts organizations, high schools, businesses and clubs to show their creativity and build a one-of-a-kind scarecrow. Registration is open to everyone.
The scarecrows will be on display in the Gardens from October 11 to October 31, 2021. There will be two prizes: a People’s Choice Award, to be determined by votes from our guests, and a Best in Show award, which will be selected by our judges. Entries will be judged on originality and theme.
This is a great opportunity to publicize your organization or special event during one of Bellingrath’s most beautiful and busiest seasons, including Boo at Bellingrath on Saturday, October 23!
Entry fees are $15 for nonprofits, civic groups, school groups and Scout troops; $20 for individuals or families; and $25 for businesses. To register, or to learn more, visit bellingrath.org.
