The Gulf Coast Procurement Opportunities Conference & Matchmaker, an event to help small businesses interested in doing work with the government, will be Feb. 1 & 2, 2016, at the Mobile Marriott, 3101 Airport Blvd., Mobile, AL 36606. More information is online at www.southalabama.edu/sbdc.
On Monday, Feb. 1, several workshops related to government procurement will be presented. There is no charge to attend the workshops but registration in advance is encouraged due to space limitations. Workshops will include, among others, Doing Business with the GSA, Department of Transportation’s DBE Certification, Navigating the Internet to Find Procurement Opportunities, and Doing Business with the City of Mobile.
