Fees/Admission:
A poker run is a fundraiser in which each pilot or driver flies/drives to an airport, picks up a card for each purchased hand, and continues to another airport. Passengers may also register and purchase as many hands as they would like. Playing cards are distributed in sealed envelopes. You must start at one of the airports on the route where you pick up your first card. You have a choice of three additional airports to stop at where you pick up an additional card for each purchased hand. Finally, you end (the terminus) at Salt Air FBO located at the Jack Edwards National Airport in Gulf Shores, Alabama (KJKA) where you pick up your last card. Envelopes with cards must remain sealed until you play your hand with the dealer. If you have any doubles of a card, you may trade the double in for another card with the dealer. If you choose to not stop at additional airports after your starting airport, due to weather factors or time constraints, you may pick up cards for your hands at the terminus, KJKA. Extra hands may be purchased at the “terminus” airport for $20.
