Gulf Shores American Legion Post 44 is collecting essential items to take to Hurricane Harvey storm and flood victims in Houston. We're working with the Texas American Legion Headquarters on items listed and delivery locations to American Legion posts in Texas. The first load will head out on Sunday morning, Sept 3. Items needed are toilet paper, blankets, generators, empty fuel cans, can food, water and more. Visit www.legional.org for more details.
