Event Description:
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community
partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. National Night Out is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and encourage participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighbors are fighting back.
The Gulf Shores Police Department, Gulf Shores Fire Rescue, Target, Publix, and Pelican Place at Craft Farms would like to invite you to participate in this year’s National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
Some of the festivities include:

- FREE fingerprints for children as part of a family safety plan.
- Displays of the Gulf Shores Police Mobile Command and Beach Patrol UTV’s.
- GSPD K-9 Unit demo.
- SWAT demo featuring the South Baldwin SRT Team.
- Alabama State Trooper Aviation Unit.
- Gulf Shores Fire/Rescue Fire Engine, Ladder Truck, and Ambulance.
- Orange Beach Fire/Rescue Pink Fire Engine.
- Crime Prevention & Drug Awareness handouts.
- Door Prizes.
- Great Music by the New Earth Army Band.
