The City of Gulf Shores is excited to join the global Make Music Day Celebration with a free event on Saturday, June 21, at Meyer Park.
Make Music Day coincides every year with the summer solstice and brings together people of all ages and skill levels to make music on the longest day of the year.
The celebration is a free and open invitation for anyone, regardless of skill level, to create, enjoy, perform, teach, learn, and experience the making of music.
Make Music Day at Meyer Park is a rain-or-shine event. Our Library and Recreation staff will be onsite with fun activities for everyone to take part in! Food Trucks will be set up for those wishing to purchase food, and the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber will be onsite selling beverages for all ages to enjoy!
Have you ever wanted to see a guitar shaped like our beautiful state? Well, we have something exciting in store for you! You can check it out here.
The City of Gulf Shores Special Events Team is partnering with the Frank Brown Songwriters and Gulf Shores High School to present Make Music Day at Meyer Park with live music performances from Group Therapy, Gulf Shores High School, and Al & Cathy.
