Event Description:
Voted as "2009 and 2010 Favorite Rodeo" of the year by the Professional Cowboy Association, The Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation Annual Rodeo is held each August to increase awareness and support for Peer Helper programs in our schools and organizations designed to help troubled youth. All proceeds from the Rodeo are used to fund the works of the Jennifer Claire Moore foundation.
Three-hundred professional cowboys and cowgirls from across the country compete in front of over 8,000 spectators in events such as bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping and steer wrestling at the event.
Other events before each night’s rodeo include: "Hometown Heroes" night, where active or retired military, as well as emergency service personnel are honored. "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" breast cancer awareness night and Saturday "Family Night".
