Event Description:
The Coastal Alabama Business Chamber, through their connection with the Google Maps Street View imaging team, has arranged for Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Fort Morgan to be the second location in the United States to have the popular Google Street View virtual tour imaging technology brought onto inland waterways. On May 1st, Waterway View filming will take place, beginning at FloraBama and finishing in Fort Morgan.
All regional news media are invited to attend to learn all about this national program, talk to the Google photographer that designed and launched the program, see the Google Street View system setup on the boat, and talk to the local businesses that were also instrumental in helping to get this unique program brought to Coastal Alabama.
