Head to Downtown OWA for Community Safety Day on Saturday, August 22 starting at 4pm! During this free event, guests will enjoy interactive demonstrations from first responders, public safety officers, and local non-profit groups that support the betterment of our South Baldwin community. Plus, it’s a great way for you to help us celebrate those who work so hard to help keep our community safe!
Bring the family for real-life, firsthand experience with the local non-profits and brave professionals who passionately serve our community in coastal Alabama. Community Safety Day is a free event that will run from 4-6pm. Live demonstrations and interactive displays will be in the streets of (admission free) Downtown OWA on Saturday, August 22.
Additional Community Safety Day activities include:
· Soccer Darts*
· Inflatable Rock Slide*
· Axe Throwing*
· Trackless Train*
*Donations are encouraged to enjoy these fun activities, and any funds will be split among the non-profits you meet onsite supporting this great event. And more!
And that’s not all that’s happening in Downtown OWA that evening. Stay for dinner and dessert. Take your cocktail to go and enjoy a walk around the lake. There’s even a firework show that evening at 8:45pm!
