Back for 2022, Caribbean Day is an OWA summer favorite with lots of fun components sure to keep all ages and interests enthralled. Whether you’re a music lover, an appreciator of art, or just love some good, family-friendly fun, then Caribbean Day at OWA is where you want to be on Saturday, July 16, 2022.
Don’t miss the incredibly talented Junior, Youth and Pro artists showcasing their talent on the sidewalks of Downtown OWA, competing for cash prizes of up to $500! Keep your eye out for Caribbean-style stilt walkers who will be dancing throughout Downtown OWA while you shop local vendors! We will also have live reggae and tropical rock music on the OWA Island Amphitheater with performance from Sandy Roots and Flip Flop Republic.
That’s not all! Catch us swaying to the breeze and appreciating the rhythms of traditional Caribbean music, trying our hand at the annual Afro-Cuban drum clinic, and enjoying family-friendly activities like a hula hoop contest and sand art. We will also have a face painter! View our full schedule of events below, and maybe even show up early for a little Dash to the Cash fun at the Gravity Island Watersports Aqua Play.
