Flora-Bama's 12th Annual Beach Run/Walk for America's Warriors will be the best run of the year! Who wouldn't want to utilize our gorgeous white sandy beaches? The start and end point is right here at the Flora-Bama and we run entirely on the beach! All 5K runners will be headed into Alabama and all 1/2 marathon runners will be headed into Florida.
Course:
All courses are held on the sand. The half marathon will head east into Florida and start/end at the Flora-Bama (total 10.5 Km - see map below). The 5K will head west in Alabama for 2.5 Km then turn around and ending at the Flora-Bama!
Race Information:
100% of the registration fees of this half marathon and 5k will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full scholarship grants as well as educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, and immediate financial assistance for severely wounded personnel and their families.
