Event Description:
Celebrate Independence Day all weekend long at Downtown OWA with three days of live entertainment, festive activities, and family-friendly fun. From July 4th through 6th, enjoy live music on OWA Island, patriotic crafts, lawn games, character meet & greets, and interactive experiences the whole family will love. Splashpad fun, inflatables, and stilt walkers bring extra excitement to each day, while a brand-new fireworks show lights up the sky on Saturday night. Whether you're a local or visiting for the holiday, OWA is your go-to destination for a full weekend of summer celebration!

Friday, July 4th 

  • 2:00-8:00 pm:  

  • Popsicle Stick Craft at the Splashpad 

  • Patriotic T-Shirt Craft at the Native Treasures Alcove 

  • Facepainting at the Splashpad 

  • 2:00-9:00pm: Lawn games on OWA Island 

  • 4:00-8:00 pm: Stilt Walkers throughout Downtown OWA 

  • 5:00-6:30pm: Live entertainment by Brigham Cason on OWA Island  

  • 5:00-9:00pm: H2OWA activities featuring 15 ft Double Waterslide Inflatable at the Native Treasures Alcove (Recommend for ages 5+)  | Learn more about Summer Series events: https://visitowa.com/summer-with-a-splash/.  

  • 7:00-9:00pm: Live entertainment by the Funky Lampshades on OWA Island  

Saturday, July 5th 

  • 2:00-8:00 pm:  

  • Uncle Sam Hat Decorating at the Native Treasures Alcove 

  • Facepainting at the Splashpad 

  • Dunk Booth at the Waffles R Wild Alcove 

  • 2:00-9:00pm: 

  • Patriotic Inflatable at the Native Treasures Alcove | Recommend for ages 5+ 

  • Lawn games on OWA Island 

  • Patriotic T-shirt Craft at the Native Treasures Alcove 

  • 3:00-5:00pm: Music Bingo at Towne Tap brought to you by Team Trivia of Pensacola 

  • Intermittently 4:00-8:00pm:  

  • Meet & greets with Rosie the Riveter and Uncle Sam in front of Gulf Coast Rep 

  • Tuki the Toucan meet & greets through Downtown OWA 

  • 4:00-8:00 pm: Stilt Walkers throughout Downtown OWA 

  • 5:00-6:30pm: Live Entertainment by Jake and Mikayla on OWA Island 

  • 6:50-8:45pm: Live Entertainment by the Rockin River Bottom Band on OWA Island 

  • 8:45-9:00pm: BRAND NEW Fireworks Show on the OWA Festival grounds 

Sunday, July 6th
