29th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup

This September marks the 29th Annual Alabama Coastal Cleanup (ACC). Since its inception, over 83,000 volunteers, picked up over 800 tons of trash, and cleaned nearly 5,000 miles of shoreline. With 30 “cleanup zones” throughout the coastal counties, this is a big endeavor. Numerous nonprofits and local groups come together under direction from the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and Alabama People Against a Littered State for a tremendous day of beach and shoreline litter removal.
