More than 50 units usually take part in the annual City of Orange Beach Mardi Gras parade. Participating groups include Orange Beach High School band and cheerleaders, Gulf Shores High School band, Bon Temps Cabrix, Treasures of the Isle, Sirens of the Sea, Order of Disorder, Order of Aurora, Maidens in Pink Stilettos and Mystics of Pleasure, among others.

ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY: During the Mardi Gras parades, the City of Orange Beach closes Highway 182 (Perdido Beach Boulevard) within the city limits of Orange Beach, Alabama to vehicular traffic on Tuesday from as early as 1:00 P.M. until as late as 4:00 P.M. For further information, call City Hall at 251-981-6979.
Perdido Beach Boulevard start at the traffic signal just east of Phoenix West and travel east ending at intersection at Highway 161 and Perdido Beach Boulevard, just past the Publix shopping center.

At the median, the parade will move to the eastbound lanes (southside of the beach highway.)
